DUH! You are in Yankton. They just had two beautiful Welsh Pembrokes over in Tyndall I think....they were are a resuce...I would have loved to have scooped them up. They were way too cute!
Hi Lynn, Where do you live? There is another SF corgi on this site....Mattie's Mom I believe is her call name...that is Jenn. She has a female Tri colored Pembroke. I wish some of the others from the dog park would join.
So glad to see someone other than me & Jenn on this site. We need to get more SDans to join. Many Corgi's are @ the dog park but everytime we go, our dogs get sick. We have others about the site.
Hope Zoes surgery went well. Wishing Zoe a speedy recovery. Remember she may seem like shes full of energy soon afterwards but try very hard to keep her calm. You can put her on a leash and keep her near you. Is she crate trained, if so you could put her in a crate while you cant be near her. Dont let her jump too much and I bleieve stairs you will want to avoid too. Hope she heals okay without any complications. Let me know how she is doing. :)
Hi Meredith, Lance gets fed twice a day and instantly eats up all his food, he doesnt leave anything lol. He will even let me know when its dinner time by barking :O
I would maybe try feeding at certain times in the morning and dinner as corgis do like routine and it does help them to learn to eat when its time to eat. How many times a day does your pup eat? Lance has thrown up yellowish looking bile before and many other corgis on here will too on an empty stomach. When you feed at certain times of the day give a certain amount of time and then pick up the food after a while...like maybe 15 min., that way they know they need to eat when its time. Dont worry they wont starve themselves, they will eat when they are hungry. Hope this helps you out. :)
Hello! I just saw your question on the chat area. Is the bile a yellowish color? When does your corgi throw up? Sometimes corgis will throw up on an empty stomach...so maybe before bed time you can give a small treat.
