Hi Donna! Thanks for posting my event on your Facebook page (Duh! Why didn't I thin of that). I'm looking forward to seeing you, Corkie and Bella on Sunday!
Oh yay! I found you! I tried searching for Corkie, but I guess I missed him among the many other Corkies that showed up on my search. Don't know if I can make the dog park tomorrow morning, but I'll definitely try for next week. I look forward to seeing you again.
Hi Donna, would love to get together some time. We could meet up in Folsom - would be great to see the "kids" run around. I start working PT at the Folsom Dog Resort in a couple weeks but pretty flexible with time.
Hi Donna and Bella. Bella looks like a pretty female version of Roscoe somewhat doesn't she? The weather is always a promise of change isn't it?
Drought sounds awful. We have LOTS of snow. Been in the O and below range for 2 weeks, but warming into 30's now. Snow will be melting and then re-freeze (great driving conditions) and then we get the MUD! Oh well, that's nature isn't it? Thanks for contacting me. I don't get on the site much anymore. Pam
Hi Bella! Benzo is a tri too and he is turning 2 this October. Benzo wants to meet new friends around Sacramento. He met with his Bay area buddies and wants to meet friends there. Hope to meet you.
We ended up going to my BF's parents house in Falmouth for the 4th. Kept Camber in the house, though...fireworks may have been too much for her, as well as the crowds. She is a rarity around the Boston area, although we did meet up with another corgi at the dogpark the other day. They got along well enough. We've enrolled her (and us) into doggy training classes so that we are really giving her the support that she really needs to bring herself to full corgi-potential. I'm excited because it will help us decode some of her behaviour lately (which I think is cute but he thinks is misbehaving). If you do come back to the Northeast, drop me a line and we could arrange a doggy playdate! Talk to you soon.
Cute little guy. Welcome to the site! I have a tri myself (as you can see) and haven't seen too many tri's in the Boston area, so she always draws attention. Talk to you soon!
Hi Donna. Glad to wrote back. I rarely see other Corgi's around.
I can't resist the ears, too cute, the bigger the better. Roscoe twists and turns his like radar, probably cuz he's blind and his hearing is more acute. We got him from a Mich. breeder we found online who
said she'd bred them for 20 years. We fell in love and just thought he looked cute with a little overbite. Said he'd been vet checked, but our vet diagnosed him with hydrocephallus which caused the blindness, seizures, etc. By the time we found out and spent thousands for tests, we were so attached to him. Vets don't give him too much longer to live, but we take care of him. It gets tiring sometimes (the steroid he takes to decrease cerebral fluid) causes him to pee nonstop! It can't be controlled. But that FACE, those EARS, his talking and antics are endearing. His big sister, Penny is a crabby old girl and doesn't play with him so he gets frustrated. Scared to take him to a dog park, afraid he'd get hurt. But he seems happy enough with us. Take care. Penny
I see them everywhere and people always stop and ask about her and many say they have one or more - perhaps they're not online people??? :) Maybe we should spread the word at all the dog parks and to everyone we meet to come join us here!
