I just love Baxter's eyes! So sweet and soulful. And did you notice...he's always smiling!!! Just stopped by to look at your pictures again. He's so darn cute, I could just cry!

HI Paige!
I'm certainly no expert on recognizing a natural bob tail...I had no idea corgis were even born with tails until I met Sidney!
I have heard that there are some breeders who have managed to breed toward a natural dock, but I don't know for sure. Based on Sidney and the other undocked corgis I have met, they all have the full bushy tail with the white tip. Also there are a few breeders who are members here who have decided they will no longer be docking their pup's tails. They have posted pictures so you can see what they look like. If you go to "view" "forum" and search "dock" or "tail" you will get a bunch of threads where the topic has been discussed.
What I have heard is that if you look closely at the end of your dog's nub, if he was docked at the vet there will be a little bald spot. It's mentioned in one of the topics, but I've got to finish making dinner or else I'd search for it for you.
Tell Baxter Sidney says "woof!" :)

Welcome Paige and Baxter! It's so awesome that you rescued him...and just look at that smile! He looks so handsome and happy!
Hi Paige! Wrigley and I live in Dallas as well. I think some of us are getting together Tuesday at 7pm at the Plano Dog Park for a Corgi playdate. Check out North Texas Corgis for the details. :)
That is a mighty smart little sweater/poncho that Baxter is sporting. What a handsome boy! I saw that little picture of him and it really caught my eye! Welcome!!
