My husband and I got Shockoe to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary so we wanted to name him after something that signified this occasion. His name "Shockoe" comes from a scenic/downtown part of Richmond City called Shockoe Bottom. This is where my husband and I had our first date together in Feb2004 =D. Sakura is a beautiful name too! I hope to see more pictures of your little guy! As a side note, I'm currently trying to teach myself Japanese, thank you for translating Sakura for me :)

It's been pretty humid here in Virginia too. Very hot and very humid. Shockoe can relate to Sakura on the topic of water drinking. That little puppy can down 3 water bowls a day. Such an "Aqua-holic" haha. =)
