Laura K.-So your there live. When is your due date? I was 3 weeks late. Boy was I ready. My Girl was a touch over 8 pounds.

I pray for a healthy baby girl, an easy delivery and your Chloe will be a great "big sister" One suggestion, while you are in the hospital, send home a blanket your new baby has been snuggled in. Give it to Chloe and let her get used to her scent. Looking forward to pictures of Chloe and her new sister!

Glad everyone is good there!!! Fall is going fast, it seems more like Winter today and our daughter's soccer game even got canceled!!! Halloween will be fun cuz it's a Saturday, but still working out details of what we'll do other than go trick or treating. Gem and Ed both have costumes, Gem will be a Queen and Ed I'm debating over a Englishman or prince??? Next year you'll have a baby to dress up too!! Will Chloe wear a costume???

Hi Laura, the article talked about trying to introduce the dog to babies sounds and stuff before he/she actually arrives. They even have cds of baby sounds that you can play through out the day! Also, once the nursery is established teach the dog boundaries in the room. if you are going to gate it off do it before you bring home baby so it isn't a big change to him. Also, start walking with the stroller before baby...now you are in MN so you might want to borrow one before winter comes and start walking him with it. They also remind you about toys-dog toys look a lot like baby toys!. You can actually buy individual articles from them or subscribe it is a great journal!! Also a trainer recommended the book Living with Kids and Dogs...Without Losing Your Mind by Collen Pelar.

We have had a busy Summer, but I think Fall is going to be busier!!!

Hello Laura. I haven't been on here in a while. I just read about Chloe's antifreeze incident. That's horrible! I am so sorry you and Chloe had to suffer through that. That had to be heartbreaking for you. How has Chloe been the last month? Is she back to normal health?
Midgee was sick last week. He has never thrown up and then all of a sudden he was puking about 8 times in 24 hrs and had bloody diarrhea. Justin took him to the vet and it was inconclusive, but based on the symptoms, he thought Midgee has Giardia. (parasites). The vet was guessing it maybe came from the pond water at Alimagnet, since several dog owners who visit the dog park have had their dogs come in with Giardia.
Midgee got a shot and a weeks worth of antibiotics and he's back to normal now.

Hi Laura. You might try cbs.com for episodes of NCIS with Corgis. One is a meat puzzle episode and one is called broken bird. There could be more those are just the ones I know of.
