Hello Lola & Lily. A Therapy Dog & a backyard agility..!! Wow.. there are so many nice dogs. Momo is just a water corgi.. haha.. I love your two girls happy smile.
Sounds just like how Sidney is being trained. He's got "paws up" down really well, but they worry about him holding that position too long, it might strain his long back. He's 28 pounds, so like you said, he's easy to lift but not to hold for too long! Well, we'll see what we figure out. He's actually being recommended for hanging out with kids during reading time, which is great because he loves kids. They would all be on the ground so his height would not be an issue. He'd have to do 10 hours at senior/nursing homes to complete his training, though.
Welcome Julianne, Lola and Lily. They are absolutely adorable! Sidney has his CGC also and is currently in Therapy Dog classes! We're trying to figure out what is the best way for Sid to present himself to the folks in wheelchairs or walkers, since he is too heavy to lift and too short to be reached when he's standing on the ground! We are thinking of using a wagon. How does Lola do it?
