Hellooo local Lononder!!!

so great to see anther corgi lover!  as you may have noticed we recently lost our little boy, may i ask where you got your pups from? Our breeder is  no longer breeding, I have tried to contact him...but think he has retired Finnshavn Kennels.

Belated welcome to the CEO of the prestigious Private Zoo! ; )

I'm just getting around to a huge back load of unread Corgi mail & enjoyed your photos.

Oh well thank you a bunch:D

It really does suck being told that you can't have a pet-especially for me since I am 18 and feel that I should be allowed to get a dog if I would like to-that was my main motive behind getting older! xD I am joking of course, but it really does just burn my cookies that I can't get my pup now.. I know that it will happen and all, I just need to figure out when! Which I don't really think I'll know until it happens! (With my luck, the lady I want to get my puppy from won't have any available when we move, so I'll have to wait until she has more and God knows when that will be!)

I'm sorry that your parents just let him out and about like that.. I wouldn't have! You've got three corgis? Haha! I want to get two as of right now.. I want to get my first one now and then about a year after I get him, I want to get another!:) I already have their names picked out and everything haha:) (I actually want to get a few more, but.. Well. My fiance is not really wanting my to get two at all already xD Because he wants to get Alaskan Klee Kais and that'll be four dogs right there in itself. Which is a lot.. But I have a feeling that when it comes down to it, two corgis simply won't be enough for me.. I see all the people on here with a bunch of corgis and I'm like "That needs to be me." But I think that if I do get more than two, that the two original will be the only ones from a breeder and that the others would be rescues.. Because then everybody wins:D Josh, my fiance, gets to be a dog hero, I get to have multiple corgis, and the abandoned corgis here get a home;D Haha.. I'll see what I can do about that when the time comes! >:}

We got her from Keepsake Corgis..Molly Forbes. We are very happy with her. Her temperament is so perfect, she's docile as anything, and yet very brave!

Thanks for the invite! We got "Halo" in Michigan, my quest to find one in Canada met with many sad moments...stillborn pups, 2 year long waiting lists, ect. It was very frustrating, and heartbreaking. I actually wanted a red/white, but she turned sable, which I actually really like, and she getting more and more black on her, I'll have to post new pics. BTW...your dogs are just adorable too!

Thanks! He is my fifth corgi and I just love him to bits! He is the most mellow of all the corgis I have had (I never thought a pembroke corgi would/could be so mellow! LOL

BTW-I read your profile and I am the same way...I also don't trust people who do not love animals. :)

Harley and I thank you for the gift.  And thanks for visiting the nursing homes with your Corgis.  The one my Mom is in lets us bring our dogs with us.  Harley hopped up on her bed and made himself at home.  MaGuire use to try to herd Mom with her walker when she came home!!  LOL!!  But he was trying to protect her.  I just love Corgis:)

Yes, a neighborhood like that would be wonderful. I love our country life but that means driving.
At 11:14am on June 12, 2011, Jane Christensen said…

I would have loved to do herding with Livvy but the driving would have been way to much! I have a few especially Livvy that herd our 2 goats and also eat the poop:(

Fly ball would be great but we too would have tp drive lenghthy distances. Liv's happy with her fetch it several times a day.

Camber got a little heavy the first year and we have kept her perfect weight ever since.  The Vet said we actually have to have her gain 4 lbs!  I try to keep her light because she does like to jump on the bed and sofa.

Some friends of ours also adopted a Corgi from Craigslist.  Her name is Pipa and she is really sweet.  She's a porker now, but they've done an amazing job getting her down to weight.  I think by fall she'll be perfect.  Pipa was like she lived there for ever after a few days and really settled in well.  Camber took a lot of time.  Just this year is when she really became friendly and started running around like crazy.  Still very quiet unless I mention going out.

Thank you Jessica! We've actually been going on visits to senior facilities for a couple of years now; we've decided to try branching into hospice care after my mother passed away at  hospice last spring.
