I am very sorry for the loss of your Casey. She seems to be a very cute, loving, and gentle corgi. My best wishes to you and your search for a new pup!
I think Jackson USED to have the same toy that Casey has. Our yard has a steep hill leading to a very big creek on the side of it, and Jackson usually loses his toys to it. When Jackson had that toy, he never seemed to enjoy it, even if it did have treats in it. A good homemade toy that we make for him is that we soak a small cloth in water, and freeze it. It stays frozen for quite a while, and jackson normally spends a good 45 minutes trying to thaw it out. Thanks for the blog post, and I hope we can be friends!
Baxter and I have you in our thoughts and prayers. Casey is free of the pain and suffering.....grateful to his Mom for letting him go. You will be with Casey again. Remember you were a great Mommy.....
Everybody who had attended the picnic in the past totally love the event! I hope to be there this year so I can experience so many corgis at the same place~!! Must be a lot of fun!!
The person I had email contact with (from Sunshine) is Deb Shindler. I had some corgi questions before I got Casey. She was helpful and informative.
I thought I was the only night owl still on the web!
Hi Barbara! I did talk to Betty, she is on vacation right now and will send out detail on the picnic around the 1st of Nov, for those who would like to attend will have to email her directly. I am aware of sunshine corgi rescue group and have been on their resuce list for a few years. Paul Drake is on the staff there and they're doing a terrific job. I didn't know that they have a small group gathering, may be i should check it out.
To bad you can't make it. Last year there were almost a 100 corgi's there. Hopefully someone will take over. If not well I have a large yard. But very little shade and I live west of West Palm Beach.
That's great! we should get together sometime, tell every corgi owner you know about MyCorgi.com :) I would like the melbourne corgi pinic to continue for the years to come, but where's a good location that can handle 100 plus people and corgis? any ideas?
