Lucy is cute as hell! Love the Tri's! I wish George was that small again. Puppydom is such a pain in the @$$ at times... but it's over waaaay too quickly, and then you wish you had it all back again. Enjoy it while you can!
No, I just use the regular puppy shampoo but I bought her some puppy fragrance spray for little girl dogs and another for Chap for male dogs....it kind of helps (hide the dog smell) between bathes...I got them at Walmart I think! Lisa P from WV
That's a good idea to put the treats in the water bottle. Daisy likes to play with a water bottle too! I'll have to try the treat trick! I also saw you are in Nascar country...my 11 year old son is a Nascar nut...He like Jeff Gordon...I like Kacey Kahyne who won today!
I also like your info on the baby nail clippers...I bought dog nail clippers and they are not the sharpest clippers ever invented! I TRIED to do Daisy's nails and one split on me and I have not tried since. Our mix has some VERY VERY long nails so maybe I'll try adult clippers on him! Thanks for all the info your page has been helpful!

No, I have not gotten the Peticure yet, but really need to do something soon. I will let you know how it works. I definitly can not do Dingo's nails with regular Dog nail clippers. He freaks out and then it scares me.
Have fun with your little tri Corgi :) She is adorable!!
I believe the "Rollover" comments are here...

The big mistake I made was to keep giving commands. Now I make sure he is paying attention, then give a command and wait. if he doesnt do it in a reasonable time I just walk off. To actually teach the roll-over I asked him to "rollover" then physically rolled him on his back and let him flip himself back over. I pushed him less and less each time and he started doing it himself. When he didnt I would physically help him out.
Congrats on your new fubaby. She is gorgeous, and looks like a very happy girl. Kara would love to play with Lucy, they are the same age almost and everything. We can compare puppy training stories!!

Aww I bet you are excited! Yes I kept him in my room with me...he is pretty spoiled now and I haven't even had him two weeks yet lol. He sleeps with me at night in my bed. He is pretty good he wakes me up if he has to go out. For as little as he is he sure loves to hog the bed! Thanks for adding me :) Your puppy looks super cute!
Oh, once you think of a name, you'll love it and it will be stuck! We kept thinking Daisy, but that is so common for dogs that I know. So, I told my husband Penelope and he was liked it a lot. But, that tri you have in the pictures is very cute. Let us know when you have the pup!
Hey Bridget! Good to hear from you. You are in for such a treat as a Corgi mom they are absolutely the best sweeties in the world. Corgis are much more important than paint....
I just love looking at your pictures! They are so adorable at that age. Take TONS of pictures when she is little. They grow up so fast! Good luck with the name! :-)
What a cute girl! Names are hard to choose. in our house, we currently have 2 horses and a cat that have 2 names. only the cat seems to have an alter ego :) Good luck, Thanks for the update! cant wait to here more.
I cant roll "diamond" off my tongue either. It sounds like a cats name and Cheez-it told me that cats have cooties. I usually name my pets two different ways depending if they are male or female. Boys get the names of objects or food and girls get the names of famous female guitar players! I like the Coffee idea, how about puppuccinno? It would be hard to yell though! Very cute pup, excelent choice.
Thank you for your imput! what was the other website you mentioned? I can't wait to see pictures of your new puppy. It will be quite a while before I can bring any pup home. CONGRATS!
A new puppy?! How exciting is that! Are you totally on pins and needles??? We saw a litter of 4 Pem puppies at Cardi Nationals and they were the absolutely cutest little fuzz balls we'd ever seen! I made us really wish we'd have been able to see our Taffy when she was a puppy. We got her when she was 2 so we didn't get to experience her puppyhood.
And believe it when people tell you that Corgi's are like potato chips. We swore we'd be a one Corgi household, right up until we got Dudley! We did manage to hold out 3 years though. :D
Thanks so much for the compliments! I love my pup so much. Good luck with your new little one! Enjoy the puppyhood b/c they grow so quickly!!! Good luck with everything!
