Now this is ridiculous. This is hilarious!

This morning, Pup discovered that water bowls are good for something other than holding stuff to drink. Water bowls are excellent to play in!

Lo! You can put your front feet in a water bowl. They get all WET! Better yet, they make splashing noises! They slop water on the patio floor! Ohhhh, cool!

Now here's the amazing part: she figured out that she could stick her schnozz into the water, blow out through her nose, and make BUBBLES!

Now I have to say, that's a new one on me. I've known many dogs that could swim, one that could swim underwater, but none that could go burbleburbleburbleburble! She did it more than once, suggesting that it's a learned trick, and that she was doing it on purpose.

Very, very funny.

Speaking of water games, Ruby the Corgi Pup continues to make progress in the house-training department. Only one accident today, and that was my fault: I left her in her X-pen while I went off to walk two miles before breakfast, without having given her enough time to wring her little self out. Bad human! Otherwise, good. Very good. Pup, that is.
