Just when it seems like everything is going wrong...

My beloved grandmother passed away this morning in the presence of her two daughters. Being out of state, this hit me pretty hard. I spent the day crying until my body hurt.  Until...

After 8 months of waiting, searching, longing, and many unsuccessful litters...against all odds...someone on the list passed and I was graced with...

Nugget.

I think grandma pulled a few strings for me...She always loved to see me happy. The universe works in mysterious ways...

1st week of February my heart will be complete. <3

There are no coincidences. Your pup's love will always be a tangible reminder that you are still much loved by your Grandma and that she is still very much aware of you. Thank you for sharing your story.

I am sorry for your loss.  Yeah, grandmas work in mysterious ways.  Nugget will always be a special connection to her.

Thanks a bunch everyone...Definitely the fix for my broken heart. My grandma's name was JoAnn so we're making his middle name Jo :)

Nugget Jo!

Congratulations on your puppy!!  Definitely a gift from your grandma...funny how they find us when we need them the most.. :-)

I am sure your grandma is looking down smiling to see you happy...she wouldn't want you to be sad.  I am so sorry for your loss, but hopefully every time you look at your pup, you'll see her. :-)

Sorry about your Grandmother, but congrats on your new puppy. It's amazing how puppies can mend a broken heart.
