Animal news for Arizona. Very Important Weekend! 11/13-11/14

Arizona animal shelters announced today that they will be putting down around 67 animals tomorrow because of lack of space. If you live in the Phoenix area and have room for a pet, please go adopt one tomorrow. If you don't have enough room, the shelters do accept donations (money or animal supplies) to assist with the animals there.

Comment by Mary on November 14, 2009 at 12:58am: I know...it's very sad...I heard the Arizona Humane Society has started euthanizing healthy animals for the first time in 7 years...even if you can't adopt a pet, consider making a donation! Also "Petique" is having it's grand opening tomorrow, proceeds will benefit AHS and they will also have adoptable animals.
