I lost my best friend this past Saturday. Cowboy was in really bad shape and it was time. I took him to the vet and held him close and he died in my arms. Words cannot even begin to express the pain and hurt and loss that I'm feeling. I can't even bring myself to take out his bed or food bowls or toys out of my house. I would give anything in the world to have my dog back. To everyone who has best friend out there hug them close and tell them how much you love them because they're not here for that long. I know that Cowboy is at Rainbow Bridge waiting for me, but I want so much to be selfish and have him back here with me. I'm not sure if I will ever want a little pooch again after going through this much pain. It hurts something awful. It feels like I'm truly missing a piece of my heart. I love you Cowboy.

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. It is good that you will have so many good memories of your little boy. That is his gift to you. I too wish they could stay with us forever, and thanks to great memories, he can hopefully stay for that long with you. You will be in our thoughts and prayers, as will Cowboy.

It is obvious Cowboy lived a beautiful life with you. Hopefully you will feel comfort someday in knowing you are each others' angels.

I am so sorry for your loss. I gave Noodles an extra big hug tonight because I can't imagine what my life would be like without him. Please know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers. May time ease your pain and remember all the wonderful times you had with Cowboy.

I lost my first two Corgi pals last year and reading your sad news of Cowboy's passing brought tears to my eyes for umpteenth time. Corgis are so special, you can never replace one but somehow a new one catches your eye and despite all logic the love affair starts again. Hugs and sympathy from Gromit and me.

So sorry for your loss. But happy for the time you spent and the friendship you had. Something about these little guys... they get right into our hearts.

Unfortunately this is a part of having them and loving them so much. I have decided over the years of (lucky for me) having so many special pets (family members) that the price while awful is well worth the joy and memories. Obviously your Cowboy was a unique and wonderful guy. I hope the all of us offering support helps in some small way to help you during this time of loss. Corgi hugs for you and I am so sorry for your pain.
