Let's get the LA corgis together on the westside!
(usually very well attended, every weekend even with rain and on holidays)

Notes:
1. Please freely set up your own meetup times! Common meetup locations include (all on the small dog side); Playa Vista's Obbereider Dog Park, Barrington Dogpark in Brentwood, Redondo Beach Dogpark.
2. Urge you all to join in with the current weekly meet up at the Redondo Beach Dog Park on Saturday & Sunday mornings from 8am-9am every week. It's on the small dog side but a large, grassy area. Ollie and I go every weekend and there's a great group of about 10-15 corgis (one day we hit 30+) and their people who consistently attend. A big plus is that everyone there is super friendly and helpful, and because it is early it is nice and cool for our furcoated-friends and leaves your day open for human playtime!
3. We will not be organizing meetups in Santa Monica as anyone who does not live in Santa Monica would be unable to meet there; you must be licensed in SM in addition to LA County in order to use the SM facilities, and this limits the corgis & people who could attend. Not worth risking it as it's a several hundred dollar fine and they actually have people at the park checking regularly.
4. This is a new group so please join and invite others! :)

We'll likely go into the Small Dog area, big enough for Corgis, but small enough to keep track of them? Weather update: WLA 1:30, sun is starting to come out and the temperature is 68 degrees. Might need a sweater on Saturday.

Yay souns like it will be a good meet. Quixote hopes to see ehr brother milo there! We cant wait to see everyone. What part of the park are meeting at small or big dog section?

Woo hoo! The party is shaping up nicely!
As for the weather, we live just a few miles from Barrington Dog Park and our highs have been in the low 70's lately. Overcast much of the day and Saturday is expected to be about the same with a high of 74. On the cool side, not too hot at all!

Not sure if we will be able to make it. We might be out of town and Maya is really inactive when it gets too hot, she practically refuses to go outside. :( Maybe next time?

Woo hoo & great! Remember little Stanley, our foster that we brought to the rainy day meet up at Barrington Dog Park? His new dad says that he will bring Stanley for the 7/2 meet up! Sounds like the party is shaping up! See you then!

We will have to miss out on Saturday as we already had beach plans :) Hope everyone has a great time!
Also, just a thought; I try to take the pups to the park in the morning before it warms up (usually before 10am) and that way I'm still free the whole day to make human activity plans while they nap through the heat.
