I'm putting Garcia Bend park on my bucket list for Sophie! she loves to swim and I haven't really found any where where it's not so crowded with people who wouldn't like dogs running around off leash. Maybe we should have a meet-up down there some day soon! let me know if you're interested.

I live near Elk Grove in south Sac too. Franklin and I frequent the river near Garcia Bend park if anybody else ever goes around there. He likes to run around offleash there and go swimming. Any other swimming/hiking places by a lake or river would be awesome if anybody  has suggestions!

Chloe and I live in Elk Grove. We have not been to any dog parks this season, but when we do, we usually do to Morse Park, because they have small and a large park. We go on the small side.

Hi everyone, I just joined this group.  I am south of Sacramento near Elk Grove...is anyone from this area?  My husband and I have four pembrokes...two tri's, one sable and one possible sable...or red and white...
