Oh yeah -- Tomorrow meaning Saturday August 4th.

Let's do the Tour -- hit Fair Oaks /Phoenix first as I know that will be closer to June/Sophie if they choose to come.

10:30am Saturday at Phoenix Park. Google maps appears to show access off Kruitoff Way next to the VFW Hall (as well as from Sunset)

http://www.fordog.org/newparkinfo.htm -- provides more info.

So --- 1030 @ Phoenix -- we're set?

What time were you thinking and which park would you like to start at?

A Tour d' Dog Park could be fun, Emily.  Great suggestion.

Paul - by "tomorrow" you mean this Saturday, right? :)

I'm up for anything, if we want to do sort of a rotation and make Phoenix the place this weekend and Sutter or Howe or the place over in the Pocket area for the next few times before we circle back to Folsom, that might be fun.

I am also fine with meeting up tomorrow with Howe 1st and Phoenix 2nd choice (if we're not doing Sutter .. )

I will agree Sutter is geographically close to me and has a small dog section ,but it is woefully lacking on shade/grass/pool -- it does have plenty of drinking water.

I head to Sutter 3-4x per week mainly because it's only 4 miles from the house versus 20+.]

One thing Sutter has -- a lot of folk take their dogs to the river which is just a short walk over the hill in the opposite direction of the parking lot.

Belle Coolidge on South Land Park / Fruitridge is also close -- but a single space with all dogs versus separate areas -- I'm not a huge fan.

I'm down for this weekend or next in the morning, while it's still cool.  Does the Howe park have a "small dog" side?  I can't allow her to run where the big dogs are.  Tegan prefers Phoenix Park @ Sunset and Hazel, next to the VFW.  There's plenty of space to get up a good head of steam and there's a kiddie pool to cool off in.

Ripley and I would like to try a meetup at the dog park on Howe (2201 Cottage Way, Sacramento, CA 95825) near El Camino this Saturday morning (the 6th), or Saturday the 20th, if anyone is interested - it will be our first time there, so if anyone has had experience with it please share what you thought. Just read about Sutter Landing and it sounds disappointing, since it would be close to home and Rip likes water. She also likes grass and shade though...

Will there be a meet-up in August?  First or second weekend?
