On Work Travel

Hi Everyone!

I just joined MyCorgi.com today. I am excited to already be receiving feedback on my posts! Thank you all for your compliments to my little guy. I'm currently on work travel. I have been out of town now for almost three weeks and I am missing my pup so badly it hurts. I spend a lot of time every night looking at his photos and end up going to sleep way too late! I did get to talk to him on Skype the other night. My husband said that he was really responding to my voice :) I get to go home on Saturday and I can't wait! Putting this profile together made me feel a little closer to him. I hear he's been doing pretty well. He got to go to puppy spa for a while (to the grandparents' house) and I'm sure he didn't even realize that I was gone while he was there playing with his best puppy friends. My husband has been talking about doing agility training with Winston since we got him and he went ahead and contacted an agility trainer today about an 8 week beginners course coming up. That will be a really awesome activity for them to do together!! They are going to start preparing this week :)

I lost my two long time mates: Tipper - my 10 yr old assy and Little Girl - my 12.5 Border Collie - this year and Cash was the perfect next pet! He has my heart!! =)

Why is it that we can't get enough of our Corgi photos?!! I look at mine all the time and Lucy is napping right next to me! I can only imagine what I'll do if I have to spend time away!

When I first got Teri when she was 12 weeks (my first corgi and the one on the left of my profile pic) I'd only had her a couple weeks before I had to go to Bolivia for two weeks....I missed her sooooo much! I looked at pics all the time, too! I felt kind of silly at the time, but I don't anymore. We love our pups! She stayed with some dear friends and had the time of her life with their two labs...she probably didn't even miss me! I'm retired now so no more travel for me....hooooraaaayyyy!
