Teri and Kako: where exactly is this spot by Sudwerks? I'm familiar with Negro Bar but I'm thinking your spot is on the other side of Rainbow Bridge? How exactly do you get to the spot you're talking about? Is parking over near Cloud's? I'm always looking for close by spots with shallow areas for swimming for Sophie. Thanks, June

Paul, Greg and Jake: It's looking like the 10th is working for most. Last time we talked about rotating parks/areas where we would meet. Melissa and Franklin mention (in a previous msg) that there is a shallow, river area not too frequented by people near Garcia Park down in the Pocket area(?). I'm up for that, but would have to be a safe secure area for the pups. Melissa/Franklin, can you give more detail re: the spot and if it would be a good place for us to meet up? Also address or good directions and a recommended place we could meet and then walk to this spot?

I won't make the 10th - but I won't be able to make any meet in September (just had knee surgery) but hopefully if we do this again in October, I'll be able to attend.  Have fun and be sure to post pictures!

The 10th works great for Kako and I !!! Where are we meeting? Are you thinking of the Folsom area for waterside? There is an area next to Sudsworks in Folsom that has free entry.

10th is perfect for the Ripster too - I'm going to be out of town the other weekends. Actually trying to hunt down some petsitting (or boarding) options, Paul had mentioned Cha Cha's before and I might need to go that route since my usual sitter options are away for Labor Day weekend (just a little pricey). If anyone has suggestions and/or is interested in hosting a fun visitor for a petsitting trade and/or reasonable stipend, let me know! Looking for Sept 2-6 or Sept 15-18.

Meanwhile - somewhere along the river for the 10th?

The 10th works for us.  Looking forward to it.

Good idea!! My vote is September 10 and let's go waterside this time.

Well I say we get September going --

I propose either Saturday the 10th  or 17th as candidate dates.

I can't recall which parks were on the tour -- but I'm sure locking a date would be 1st then a locale later?

Thoughts ---
