Mr. Larz and I can go whenever in the afternoon at wiggy park. We haven't gone recently do to it's too hot. But I always get excited when I see other corgis in Denton, or anywhere really :) Larz seems to only like other corgis. He doesn' like dogs bigger than him. He is ok with smaller dogs but tends to get annoyed easy if they are very young. He is 7 years old so I feel like he's a grumpy old man trying to herd the younger dogs around and keep them in order.

Joey, Wiggly Field is on Ryan Street, which is off of Teasley. If you're going North on 35, take Teasley and go left, make a right at the CVS (still Teasley), and a right on Ryan. Wiggly is the 3rd-ish street on your left!

I've been to the Lewisville railroad park before and there isn't any good shade. Mikko and I didn't stay long because we got to hot.

I would definitely prefer a weekend - like especially a Sunday evening might work for a lot of people.  Thoughts?

Although I would LOVE to get everyone up to Wiggly Field in Denton, I know that's a much further drive for most of you.  Any thoughts about the park in Lewisville - Railroad Park?  I've heard good things about it but haven't been.

I also was looking at a place in the middle of Dallas called the Pooch Patio - it's a patio where your dogs can be off leash and you can sit and have beer, wine, or a latte and watch them!  They also have dog grooming and daycare, etc.  Has anyone ever been there?  It might be something really fun to get together and do sometime!

Week-end sounds great to me, but not this week-end. Just throwing this out.. October 1st??

Joey and Labus do not need to meet then. I thought I was the only with an alpha Corgi ha ha.... He seems to dislike bigger dogs though. Dogs his size he seems to be ok, or smaller. My other Corgi Boudreaux is very shy. He is the one I will bring though..

What about a weekend meet up instead? Hopefully, more people can make it then, and distance and rush-hour traffic won't be such a concern. . .

We'd like to come by but Joey is very much an alpha male who might not get along.  He's not keen on other Corgis.  We tried.  He doesn't care.  To him.  They're just another dog.  We can take him to this park.  Where is the Wiggly Park?  Near the Denton old courthouse?
