Merry Christmas Chris n Andrew, Jeter n Cappy, have a wonderful day, and enjoy the fur kids. Mine are sleeping right now, lots of play and toys this morning. Lots of fun. Hope to see you guys soon, another meet up.
You know, as I was commenting this morning on the Harry Potter corgis site about how I preferred the "Luna" costume, I was thinking to myself- "Duhhhhh" you wouldn't have dressed her up as Luna if she were a boy!
Our Luna was a bee and 'Mione was the Ladybug. I'll get organized enough to upload photos soon.
My daughter (world's biggest HP fan) went a different direction this Halloween, she was Maximum Ride (from the James Patterson young adult novels). Who knew that James Patterson wrote books for kids? Anyway, once she had read all the HP four or five times she needed new reading material. So she was a girl with wings!
Thank You for the birthday wishes!! October is such a busy month, we have 4 birthdays in the month of October, 2 human, 2 dogs!!!! Not to mention my sisters bday too, almost seems like Christmas in October.
many thanks! Happy Halloween to your nubs too! (I think they are nubs?) and they're both boys, right? They're a bee and a ladybug tonight...helping me hand out candy!
Hi! and sorry for getting the spouses confused! Welcome to the HP corgis- us HP fans need to stick together....: ) even before the post on the front page, I had showed my daughter the Harry Potter costume photo (I think it was just posted in the general photos that show up on the left). We loved it!
Is voting just a matter of "liking"? I liked both the pictures -- those costumes are genuinely magnificent. And don't get me started on the outrageously adorable Corgis in them! Good work!
Thanks so much. She's all better now. She ate some thing toxic when I took her to a friend's BBQ party. I'll have to be more of a hawkish corgi mom. What a scare! Lesson learned!
It was sure nice to meet you and your husband, and surely your adorable corgis. It was fun. The weather turned out to be ok to. This was my first corgi meet up and i sure enjoyed it. Hope to see you all soon. I have a ?, do you still feed your dogs the Red Moon food.

It was great meeting you both and Jeter and Cappy today at whalon! Hope to see you soon!
I am new here so I might be mixed up. I joined at the end of July this year. I became interested in MyCorgi when I heard there were Corgi picnics. I attended the Wisconsin picnic on Juy 23 and they convinced me to join. I thought I would join just to share the pictures I took at their picnic and then I got to thinking that there must be an Illinois picnic and he rest is history.
I can't wait to see Freeport. It sounds wonderful. The dog park here is not so great, but I guess I am glad there is one. My Corgis love to run and play with the other dogs, so I know they will have a great time. See you soon.

Thanks for the info Chris.
After your dogs have been on this for awhile, are they shedding at all, or some.
Sunday you told me about a place in NC to stay with the dogs. Was that Barkwood?
I found a Barkwood Cabin that takes dogs, but it did not mention a fenced in yard, etc. Please send me the information.
The one I talked about was Four Paws Kingdom. I have not been there, but it looks promising. Here is that link....http://www.4pawskingdom.com/

Did you mean you went 2 years ago in 2009?
I was told that the 2010 picnic got canceled.
So were you at the Freeport one in 2009?
