Oh my goodness, I'm glad I'm not the only one that has a corgi who can't get enough playing time.  This is JD, and we live across the road from a school oval so every afternoon we go over there and throw a tennis ball for him and his "brother" who is a cattle dog.  Thankfully I have a ball flicker so I don't have to touch a slobber soaked ball.  I am convinced that JD has no idea what "no more" means.  When we are at home he brings me bits of his sleeping basket to throw for him.  I never knew corgi's were so adorable!!!

What a great group! I almost fell off my chair laughing when I read  Lori A. Haskett 's comment! We play fetch in the house with a tug rope. Snickers and Jack will chase it and whoever gets it brings it back, or they will tug first then bring it back, sometimes Snickers asks for a tug session when she brings it back. But however it goes, Jack and I always give up before she does. For a Christmas present I decided to throw it until she pooped out. Didn't happen. I called it quits when the rope came back with red on it- too much tugging!

Congratulations on your new furbaby Erin!  Sounds like you will have a tremendous right arm before too long ;)

Just adopted a Corgi yesterday, and she would play fetch until she fell over if we would let her!  :D

Just have to let you know I'm so with you! Sometimes I just  want  Callie to STOP wanting to play fetch so much but them when she's taking a break I worry...is she sick?...

Napolean is a 2 1/2 year old corgi that just won't stop playing fetch. He play with tennis balls, frisbees, sticks, or anything that you can throw for him. Even in 89 degree weather this dog just won't stop until his tongue is stretched out to it's maximum extension. Usually I'm the only one throwing the ball since no one else wants to touch his sopping ball full of his saliva. Even if he had to choose between training time or ball he'll definitely go for a game of fetch!

Hello all, you've probably seen Gemini on here before.

She lives with my parents, and when I visit it's frisbee, frisbee, frisbee!!! She really could play all day. People are shocked she's a Corgi as she plays on the field like a Lab!! There is always a 'toy of the day' and no matter where you hide it, even if it is still half 6 in the the morning, she will find it and shove the wet slimy toy in your face until you throw it for her. Lovely, but tiring.

Her step siblings aren't so pushy with toys -  they prefer to chew!! Perhaps it is just because she's a fluff.. but looking at the other pictures, I'm pleased to see other Corgis chase and fetch too!! :)

Hello; my name is Jake and I am a 3 yr. old PWC who will fetch anything you can throw until I drop.  The only thing that will stop me is when my owner says "That'll do Jake" and then I drop whatever I have in my mouth.  Then she says "Settle" and I settle down and rest a while.  It doesn't last long though, I'm up and running in no time to fetch the next item.  Balls, frisbees, dragons, sticks anything at all.  Just throw it!!!!!!!
