Thank you for welcoming Sheldon and me! Your little Sidney is precious. Might I ask, how much did he weigh at 7 months?

I visited once over the summer and your 90 degree days felt wonderful compared to Houston's soggy summer. Sidney is very handsome, especially with that bushy tail. I hope his hip isn't troubling him too much.

Please pass along to greeting from my corgi (currently pawing my keyboard) to Sidney, Bruce, and Chester.

Thanks! His name is Puzzle. Kao would be my/his/our last name.

How do you and Sidney like the SD area? We almost moved out there.

His name is Cooper. He is 3 yearss old and we have had him for about 4 months. He is driving my wife crazy because all of our other dogs latched onto me.  Cooper follows her everywhere in the house, sits at the door when she goes out to smoke etc.

Hi Geri and Sidney!  Thanks so very much for being here!!  Our girl's name is Maggie.  She goes by many names though, like Princess Margaret, or Princess Maggie, or Maggamuffin, or the Muflinator.  She's our first Corgi and we love her so much.  She's still at the vet's right now.  We have to leave the state for work for 8 days and they are going to board her for us.  We miss her so much already.  My sister lives with us and watches our place while we travel and she has just been diagnosed with colon cancer.  She has surgery on October 10th. My brother has moved in too, and will help her with our place while we are gone.  Thanks for listening!!

thanks. I'm not a cutzie name person, but I hope it's somewhat original. Now for housebreaking these two!  The surprises we get, huh!?

I was eating a pear when I felt some doggie paws on my leg. I looked down into Frodo's face.
He was wearing that really intent expression that dogs get when they want a bite of whatever you are eating.
I told him dogs don't like pears, but he kept pleading, so I gave him a piece.
He dropped down to the floor with his prize while I kept eating.
A few minutes later his paws were back up on my leg. I looked down and he carefully placed the piece of pear in my lap. He didn't just leave it, it gave it back!
He gave me a scornful look and stalked off.
I think he has been taking snob lessons from that cat.

Geri and Sidney,
Thank-you so much for the warm welcome and kind words. It helps the mourning process to talk about Katie. I hope you and all of your furbabies are doing well.

Thanks, Geri.  I see you have been through therapy dog training; I've thought Taffy might be a candidate for that.  She's a challenge to teach because she is so headstrong, but she is incredibly gentle, and she considers all the world to be her bff.  So I think it would be a good activity for her.  I'd be interested to hear about the process.
