We're In!! Can't wait. It's our favorite thing to do! I wait all year for the Picnic.

Don't get there to early though. They wont let you in until 10:30 and the road you go down to get there isn't really easy to turn around on so you just have to wait until the gates open.

Were debating about whether or not to make it a day trip. We really could use a day away and this is just too much fun not to stay up there

The area where the picnic is, is all fenced in.  All doggies must be leashed until the announcement is made for all clear.  We will have a bunch of people going up on Friday to the site to do pre-set up.  LaQuinta will not know what hit them!  It's about 40 minutes south of the site.  I'm sure we will all see each other at the hotel.  You can't get onto the picnic site until 10:30....so timing is everything.  The place is sort of hard to spot....it's a long driveway along side of some metal buildings.  I would Google Earth the place, so you know what landmarks to look for.  Also, that might give you some ideas of where to "hang" if you make good time and get there too early.  Can't WAIT!!!!!!!!

Me and Scootie are counting the days!!! ....We will be driving up Sat morning, leaving at 6am, thats plenty of time for pee stops....See you there!

Poopdeck is getting very excited about the picnic!  Latest count was 425 Humans and 260 Corgi; me thinks he will be in Corgi overload!  Who's still coming??

Have you gone on to the Corgi picnic facebook and checked it out?  They are offering a pretty cool Corgi ditty bag if you purchase $40.00 worth of raffle tickets.  Keeping in mind that all the money goes to help our favorite breed!

Poopdeck Gregg and I are going up the day before and staying at the LaQuinta.  There is talk of a pre-get together; sounded like fun.  Great to hear there are so many going from our area; way to represent.  I am more excited than Poopdeck!
