I have nothing but very positive things to say about RJ's, and fully recommend them! Renee was awesome about keeping us updated weekly with pictures and little stories of Gilby and happily answered any little question we had along the way (and there were a lot of them!).
Gilby is just over a year old now, he's been perfectly healthy! He's handsome, smart, got the brightest personality, so good with kids, dogs, people, etc..., very sweet, and this has truly been the best year of our lives because of him!
I don't know what else I could have asked for from our puppy or our breeder. Everything has been outstanding! I whole-heartedly recommend getting a puppy through them, if you have any other questions, feel free to ask!
RJ's was fantastic! They raise the puppies right in their home and they are very well socialized. Jack is a vet so you know their corgis are healthy and well cared for. Renee has been really helpful and answered all my questions very quickly and honestly - something I can not say for any of the other Minnesota breeders I contacted. She really wants what is best for her puppies and I admire that in a breeder.
If you are thinking about going with RJ's I would encourage you to visit Renee and her dogs before committing to a pup and ask a bunch of questions! We had a great experience, but it is important that YOU feel comfortable and confident with a breeder - it is a partnership that you will have for the life of the puppy.
Our puppy, Pan is just about 10months old and was a Nemo/Ramsey baby. He has a wonderful temperament and is incredibly smart! He gets along fantastically with everyone he meets, doesn't chase small animals, does well with cats and other dogs, too! Of course, each puppy is an individual, but you can tell a lot of care is taken to make sure the puppies have a positive life experience and build their confidence with things that may be 'scary' to many dogs.
I can only sing RJ's praises - but, again, I would encourage you to do a little research on your own to make sure they are a good fit for YOU.
Hi Cheryl! My SIdney has a tail, but I found him in the Pennysaver. I know a few tailed Pembrokes here in San Diego and they are nearly all rescues. There is something really cool about that corgi tail. There are a couple of breeders I have heard of who leave tails on.
