Kiara, Karen has Willie and little Pippin too :). A corgi meetup would be a great way for you and all the corgis to meet puppy Pippin :). With all of us and Margaret and Isaac there'd be 8 corgis!

Hey Margaret and Isaac,

I would love to know when the next meeting would be also. The last one was great and we met a lot of corgis. Add us on Facebook and we can let eachother know. My Best friend Sharon, has 1 Cardigan Corgi and her friend has 1 and I have 3 so that alone is a corgi meeting. LOL Mickey and Max's facebook page is Itsadogworld@hotmail.com :)

Hey CT Corgi lovers! I would love to set up a corgi meetup at the Central Bark Dog Park at Copp Family Park in Groton. I was thinking August 31, 2013 @ 2:00pm. Locals rave about this fenced off-leash dog park with separate small dog area, chairs and tables for owners to relax on, and shade trees. Bella and love it there and would love to see you all there for some afternoon fun :)

Hello Corgi friends, I just wanted to let everyone know about a terrible tragedy that a Facebook friend suffered.  Her young Corgi got into the trash overnight while unsupervised and found a potato chip bag.  As Corgis will, he stuck his head into the bag, couldn't get it off his head because of his short legs, and suffocated and died.  Please secure your trash cans so that your Corgi cannot get into them, but even better, cut ALL bags into quarters before you throw them away.  This includes chip bags, plastic grocery bags, plastic vegetable bags from the grocery store, storage bags, ANY AND ALL plastic bags!  I even got down on my hands and knees to see the world at "Corgi level" to see what Dover might be able to get into.  It's so easy to miss a bag which has fallen behind the trash bin.  We need to be diligent to keep our beloved pets safe :)
