Wendy, so nice to hear from you. The doggies are doing well. I have had a lot of trouble with my feet the past year, so they don't get as much walking as they should, but with Jack Spaniels turning 13(!) next month, and Snickers is 8, they don't need as much exercise as they did as younger dogs. Snickers' second knee surgery has not been 100% and I have to be careful not to let her overdo, or she will be limping for a day or two after. How are your kids, 2 leg and 4?
Tucker seems to be doing ok, hope he continues to. My husband had been looking at cardigans not too long after lance passed, but I think it was it was a way of coping. Unfortunately, I'm not sure we will be able to get another corgi any time soon. Life is so unpredictable, as I woke up this morning to my fb and the first thing I saw was a fb friend I know through corgi nation, unexpectedly and tragically lost her husband in a car accident, only 45 years old. So much sadness everywhere. :( One day at a time, is the motto I am going back too. Thanks for asking Wendy. How are you and your family doing?
Is Ricky rooting for Rafa Nidal? Does he harbor some secret fantasy of retrieving Rafa's errant practice shots? That would be a workout: trying to serve up practice shots faster than a corgi can return them.
Al favors his leg but gets around the hood OK. I s'poze I'd spend over $1k just on a diagnosis and recommendation. I want him to be able to play soccer and tennis ball.
Gwynnie (10.75 y.o.) is getting the hiking -- weenie peaks -- but she's done 2 this year already, and an easy 20 miles MLK weekend. 20 miles... I don't feel a day over 60...
3 mo. tricolor puppie (Butters) in our neighborhood!! An older red (Levi), too!
thank y ou Wendy and Jack, the Corgi Nation are the best people!!!!! We hope that Katie is pregnant with Joey babies. I have never been owned by a better worker than Joe. We worked some cows yesterday, just was not the same
Wendy: I didn't know groups were run by the person who set them up? I just post things when I think a member might be interested. Snickers is just as much of a stick as Lucy, so I don't think I qualify as a social director either! I spend more time with my tumblr than with MyCorgi lately. Hope you are doing well.
Just reading your comment about rehoming Ricky......It made me laugh.....I am now rehoming a "wild child". His name is KODI....he was given to me to help fill the void from losing Sammie....My poor wonderful female, Merry, is longing for her quiet home. We have a roaring bundle of energy....1 year old....long bodied Corgi....RED and WHITE...always on the move.....and very adept at driving Merry crazy. I don't know that this is what I bargained for.....I have to admit that his antics make me laugh...and then I fill up the holes that he digs...try to stay ahead of his racing through the garden (such as it is).....keep him from jumping over Merry.....and taking long (I do mean long) walks to wear down the energy level....I think that this is a hard way to feel young again....All I feel is exhausted.....:Oh Well, how can Merrry and I not love him....he acts just like my youngest (now adult) child.....I survived that.
Hope all is well at your home. Merry and Kodi are sending their love to Lucy and Ricky-Rafa.
Hello, happy new year. We wish you a fun, prosperous and corgi-tastic year. I have not been on mycorgi for awhile, it's usually gabby responding and check in every once in a while. I hope all is well...we are doing fine. :)
Just saw your post about my picture...I am horrible at checking my page! I got it off the internet...think it was a corgi site. I can send it to you if you want!
Wendy, do you know the bloodlines of the Queen's Corgis? I have looked online and not only can't I find pedigrees, I can't even find registered names, only call names.
And do you happen to know if Belroyd is still breeding? I just love their dogs. To me, it's the classic Corgi look. I mentioned once before that whenever I see a Corgi whose head and front end I love, it's a Belroyd line dog. If you look at pictures of my Jack, he's got the classic Belroyd head from his sire, Anwyl Winds O' Change (by Belroyd Knight Flyer).

Hi Wendy, Jarvis was worried about you your FB page is gone and me to!
I thought it was hilarious too! I wish I was talented enough with PhotoShop to do stuff like that.... :-)
