Watson is now 5 months old. He has been so much fun! He is smart, silly, loving and at times wild. He loves Izzy and they play often. It is great to see her having so much fun. He passed Puppy Class with flying colors but we are still working on stopping him from barking at other dogs and overly enthusiastically greeting people. I think he is still a little frightened of strange dogs and after he matures may be better at that. We are getting ready for a month long trip with our RV so I think he will improve a lot when exposed to more situations. It has really fun having a puppy again!

It warms my heart to see them laying together:) I do have to laugh because Izzy looks so mellow and Watson looks like he's ready and waiting for some excitement. Glad all is well!

Yes, Watson just wants to copy Izzy all the time, it is very funny!  Beth, that is why I am working so diligently to end his barking. I know it is aggressive to some dogs. Watson is not aggressive at all, just backs away if the other dog comes towards him. Fortunately Izzy sets a good example by not reacting to other dogs at all.

We started doing this Northern Michigan trip last year and it is so relaxing. Can't wait! Wish you could all come visit!

I was just wondering how Watson is. I love that Izzy is totally relaxed on the sofa, while Watson is watching the camera with a gleam in his eye! Keep up the work with other dogs; Madison stares and barks and easy-going dogs recognize her for the push over she is, but insecure dogs get very offended and she has been rolled more than once after setting a dog off with her unappreciated greetings....

Enjoy your trip! I'm jealous.

We went camping recently and observed the RV set ups of people traveling with their dogs. Many put up x-pen fences around the front of their rigs so their dogs could have a little freedom off leash. What a great idea! I hope someday to be able to travel like that. Would be so much fun with some corgs!

Awwww.....they look so cute together!  So glad you are enjoying him.  I haven't had a puppy in over 20 years.  But I do believe our next one will be a puppy.  My husband says I am retired now so I have the time necessary to devote to the training.  Hmmm, maybe I will wait till he retires so he can help.
