I know this reply is long overdue, but thank you Natalie! I love your pup's pictures as well :) I wish your daughter the best of luck in college! Nursing school is definitely a lot of stress and work, but once she reaches the light at the end of the tunnel it'll be such a rewarding thing for her to experience. So glad we're now friends!

Yes, I agree...we need to enjoy them every day we have them!  I lost my Pembroke 4 1/2 years ago and thought I would be dog-free.  That lasted 6 months - I got Jack 4 years ago this President's Day weekend and have laughed and enjoyed him every day since.  I will never forget my beloved

 Rascal, though!

Thank you!  He has been a ray of sunshine in my life the past four years.  I have enjoyed seeing your pups, too and hope all is well!

Thanks for the welcome!  My two just turned 8 earlier this month.  Our little girl is dealing with addisons disease but with the right medication she seems to be doing well.

Thanks for the welcome!

My pup is 4 1/2 months old and is a wonderful and intelligent dog.  We need to break him of his biting habit (and the herding needs to be worked on too).  We've tried the yelping and the redirection with the toy but he actually goes around the toy to bite the hands.  Sometimes it's just mouthing but most of the times he thinks we're a chew toy. Any other suggestions we could try?

So sorry to hear about Lance.  I totally understand what you are going through.  I cry almost daily about Sonny and Lucky, and you probably do too.  I wish corgis could live longer.  Take care, hug each other.

So sorry about your friend. Life is fragile. Carpe Diem. Thanks for asking about my guys. Both are doing well. RR has been keeping Lucy very fit. It's hard to believe she's going to be 9yo next month. She looks like a puppy. She has more stamina than my big horse of a corgi, RR. But, he's very fit too. We changed them to TOTW salmon a year ago and I think it's great for them. Happy rest of the summer. And my condolences to you and your friend for the loss of her husband.

Thanks for the Birthday wishes! We are in Northern Michigan for the month of July and I love it here. It has been a pretty cool summer but since I am not a beach person, I am fine with it. Watson and Izzy are having fun too. I hope you are all doing well. It is really strange only having one dog isn't it? Still miss my lost ones and I know you do too.

Hey Thanks for commenting on Sterling :) This is the breeder's FB https://www.facebook.com/kirkwood.corgis?fref=photo . She has been GREAT. Sending pics and videos and whatnot as they grow. This breeder emailed me a week ago about her blue merle litter but I already have Sterling http://www.sunkissedkennels.com/ . Maybe she has some unclaimed still :)

It's so hard. I try not to think about Lucy's age. How's Tucker doing? Is it too soon to think about another Corgi? Thinking of you and knowing how big a loss this is.

OH NO. I just read about Lance's passing. I am so very sorry. How's Tucker doing? And most of all, how are you doing? My condolences. Big hugs. Wendy

Helllllloooo. Long time! I was so happy to see a message from you. Hope all's well. I haven't been on mycorgi for most of the year bec. I've gotten busy with FB (which I was never on) to help plan my HS reunion. I plan on dropping off FB as soon as the reunion's over and get back onto mycorgi. Lucy and Ricky-Rafa will be going to NY with me for the summer. Hope to speak to you more.

Hi Natalie - Just wondering how you all are doing? Did you end up taking Tucker to the vet?

Hi Natalie, thanks for accepting our friendship! I was so sorry to hear about Lance's passing.  He was such a beautiful little guy. All my sympathies to your family :(

Hi, and thanks for the question about using a soft-sided crate in me car.  I have read online that soft-sided crates can collapse and fold over the dog in extreme braking.  Upon impact the soft "tent-like" crate can engulf, and smother the dog, if the animal is sent lurching forward. I really don't know though, but that scared me.  I received my ipuppyone air mesh harness two days ago, and it was a breeze to fit on adolescent Izzy. Hope, it works.... Thanks, Randi.

Hi, thanks for your responses and inquiries. We are planning to wait a few weeks (to see if his levels decrease) and then take him to another vet for a second opinion. It looks like isolated ALT is common in dogs, and he's otherwise acting completely normal, so I hope it'll turn out to be nothing. Will keep you posted.

You're very welcome! How cool! We live in northern Arizona, so it doesn't get as hot at it does in southern Arizona. The high in the summer is usually 85 degrees Fahrenheit and cools down a lot at night, then in the winter we get a lot of snow! An average of 103 inches. Though this winter wasn't that great! It is nice being able to drive a few hours down south and have warm weather if we want a break from the cold in the winter. :)
