Hey Milwaukee corgis & their people! If the weather cooperates, you may want to check out the Brady Street Pet Parade Sunday 10/5/14. It was lots of fun last year. Here's the link with more info:

We are currently trying to find out who won the custom dog coats at the Raffle. There were 2 and only 1 person has actually contacted the person who is making the coats. If you won one of the coats, can you please contact either myself or the person on the paper. Thanks!!

Sonny's eating, keeping it down, and running all over the yard and house again.

Hi, That's what I was wondering....can they give each other colds and flus etc.?  Yes, I was worried because he threw up 3 meals in a row.  I called our vet, and we skipped the next day's morning meal, and started on white rice and boiled chicken and he's not throwing up anymore.  I will ease him back into his regular dog food.  My Sonny picks up (& chews on) whatever little trinkets he finds...coins, paperclips, hair clips, children's toys or even pieces of toys.  I'm forever telling him "drop it" and "leave it"...which he does...if I see him do it :o)

Hi, We were at the picnic Saturday, and also went to a large dog event on Sunday.  My dog threw up Mon night (not too much), but he threw up Tues mornings meal and Tues (last nights) meal.  Other than that, he seems perfectly fine....he's running around the yard and playing like he always does.  I called the vet, and they suggested skipping this morning (weds) meal and trying some rice and chicken tonight.   MY QUESTION is do dogs get the flu from other dogs?  He was in contact with so many other dogs this weekend, could he have contracted a virus?  If he doesn't keep food down by tomorrow, I will bring him to the vet.  Anyone else have any ideas?

That was great Deb! Thanks for sharing. Although I could have lived without the shot of my "tail!" HaHa!
