Hi Geri & Sidney, there are quite a few Corgies down here, its rare to encounter another in the city and thats fine because Shepard looks exotic, being a fluffy corgi and all :D
Down here the most common dogs are schnauzers, labradors, maltese, poodle & chihuahua (of course) and pitbulls

Thanks so much! Your corgi is adorable. It has the signature corgi smile. We are looking forward to learning more about Corgies on this site because Sebastian is a handful; nothing like my former labs or German Shepherds!

Thank you! I am new to the internet, I live on Walton's Mountain,Va. And believe it or not we just got internet. I am so happy to be able to communicate with other Corgi families as there are not many Corgis around here.
Don't laugh...his name is Biff. It was the only way I could get my first husband to agree to a corgi 15 years ago; if I gave him the name of his line of Boxers, all named Biff. Flash forward to my current husband, who spent 5 years w/ my beloved former Biff (14 1/2 as my baby), and neither one of us could stick to any of the names we picked for the new baby. I remember thinking, "Oh, how disrespectful!" when my former husband told me all of his previous Boxers had the same name, but now I get it. Both my new husband and I simply could not stop calling him Biff. old habits die hard.

Sidney is adorable.
Thank you!
Vala (about 11) has been limping off left front foot & x-rays showed a bone spur on left elbow. We are seeing Ortho Dr tomorrow, so, wish us luck!
Sorry I'm responding late--Thank you for the warm welcome! I am so excited to have my Corgi finally and to have found a Corgi-loving community :)
Thanks for the welcome! I'm excited to finally be a corgi owner :) Elle & Archer

I can't imagine having any other dog than a corgi, they have the biggest personalities!
My guys are Sir Spaz (7) and Lady Lana (2).
