Anybody here knowledgeable about Pembroke bloodlines?

I have a dog that is likely a Pembroke Welsh Corgi mix (was a shelter dog with no history) but people keep thinking she might be pure. I find that unlikely but if she is pure she must be from some rare bloodline or something! Anybody know of a bloodline with her oddball traits? She's got hardly any white on her chest (and every Corgi I've seen had white at least covering the front of the chest) and her ears are pointed and close together.

Hmmm so this is interesting!!! I just realized that Madison has a tooth abnormality that is mostly seen in Shetland Sheepdogs. Look at how her upper canine is in front of her lower canine. It's supposed to be the other way around:

Do any of your Corgis have this? (Check both sides. She only has it on one side.)

Looks like a typical sable corgi to me. They do not have to have a lot of white.

Here's one with a blaze on his chest rather than full white.

@Beth Can you recall how much white there was on the chest? I've been able to locate Corgis with Madison's amount of white on the muzzle and Madison's amount of white on her feet but I still can't find anybody with her amount of white on the front of her chest. http://api.ning.com/files/DIpsX3jcHzOl3mzorO2JOOKQhL4InS05CAo2gaX2*-5wiyiXNPokCCWbt3TsoF1N4iE2dpeq3Sw3YKdJBZxXFD0p*3ITxaak/madison_sitting.jpg?width=468&height=600

@Linda, @Beth Thanks for the responses. You touched on something that has also been confusing me: The fact the AKC breed standard says it's acceptable for Pems to have little or no white. What makes me so confused is I have been scouring the internet and I cannot find such Corgis except in very old pictures. I have gone through hundreds and hundreds of them. I think I'm driving myself a bit nuts haha xD

You guys wouldn't happen to have a more recent pic of such a Pem (or even a Cardi), would you? I'd very much love to see! :D I'd love to know what bloodline they're from too. Maybe my dog is from that bloodline.

I say definitely a purebred Pem.  This quote is straight from the AKC description of a Pembroke corgi:

"The Pembroke Corgi is a separate breed from the Cardigan Corgi, possessing a shorter body and straighter, lighter boned legs. His ears are pointed at the tip and stand erect, and he has a short tail. The coat can be red, sable, fawn, black and tan with or without white markings."

She also has a typey head and show dock. I'm guessing she came from a good breeder. She either traveled and someone is missing her very much, or something bad happened with her former people. From your other posts it sounds like she had higher level obedience training. Treasure her. Dogs like this rarely end up in shelters.
