I got the idea for this post as I was playing outside with Becca this afternoon. We live in Maine and it has been a LONG winter.

Spring is when your corgi can no longer walk over the top of your four foot fence.

What are your Spring is ideas?

Hahaha....that's our "normal" winter BUT we were lucky (I guess) and only had very cold. This year spring for me is the geese are flying and the dogs can be outside for longer than 10 minutes and not in the fence! They can run all over our 8 acres like crazy:)

Marcie....I live in the Mid Hudson Valley in NY so right now my idea of spring is much like yours.  They can't walk over the 4 foot picket fence any more.  And all the snow covered poop is emerging.

We celebrated by going "to the bathroom" on a tiny patch of bare ground or the first time in months. It took some serious hunting, but Sully rooted out the one six-inch clear patch in what is still two-three feet of snow and she looked positively ecstatic to be on solid earth again. I can't wait to go on a picnic without boots and mittens. Not for awhile though. I saw a picture taken today in a nearby town with three deer on top of a garage roof. I assume they climbed up a snow bank, but maybe they really can fly!

Spring is when your corgi starts waking you up earlier and earlier...
