Thanks for the update.  Human kids sometimes have to have a baby tooth removed because it doesn't fall out on it's own, I suppose it could happen to our 4 legged kids too.  Hope this round of meds does the trick for Luna, poor baby.

Took Luna to the vet yesterday. The pawing at her mouth stopped and they said not to worry, her mouth and teeth looked fine. They did find it curious that at 4 months she still has not lost 1 puppy tooth. In regards to the bladder infection issue, she is no longer exhibiting symptoms (except for greenish discharge) of infection, but they tested her urine and the results show the antibiotics are not working and the infection is still there. They gave me 10 more days of meds and special wipes to use twice a day in hopes that they will clear up the "puppy vaginitis" they're calling it. They usually grow out of it on their own, but the vet is concerned there might be some sort of "trench" that bacteria is getting caught in during evacuation... they think bacteria is catching somewhere in the urine bath and not in the bladder itself. At this point it's a waiting game for another week and a half and then i will take her back in. It's quite frustrating just waiting....

Please let us know how she is after your vet appointment.  Keeping good thoughts for an easy to fix problem.

Thank you so much everyone for your comments!  I checked her teeth and while there are no broken teeth, we had a toothbrush battle and she's not messing with her mouth anymore.  Pretty sure there was something caught in there.  As for the other issue, to the vet we go!! :-)

Does she cry or act like she is in any pain?  Have you looked in her mouth?  I know its hard to do, but look for a broken tooth.  Puppies chew on all sorts of things that could possibly break a tooth.  Even some of the bones and antlers that are suppose to be great chew toys are so hard that they have been known to break teeth.

I'd have her checked, both for the mouth and the discharge.   Probably nothing super serious but worth investigating.
