Great pictures of Gibson. Chloe was gated in the kitchen while we were at work and one day we come home to find her crate that she likes to sleep in moved into the kitchen and the radio CD player open that was on the other side of the gate - come to find out she learned jump on the top of her crate into the family room and then used the CD player to jump back into the kitchen when she heard us come home. She now has run of the kitchen and family room and has been doing great all day when we are at work. She if Free. She loves to look out the window and watch what is going on during the day.
Love the new profile pic. It totally looks like he is smiling. Caden has been holding at 21 pounds for the last 8 weeks or so. I'm guessing another growth spurt is on it's way. How about Gibson?
Hey Kelly, just saw the latest photos of Gibson, what a handsome fella he is :)

Hey Kelly, I love your page, great job! And I know this problems, Jerry looks so sweet, but insite is a little devil. Usually he went for pee in the garden before breakfast, until the day, I just saw his Corgi tail a cross the steet. So I run after him in my pj without slippers...all along the street... And I swear, he was loughing .... So, you are definatly not alone ;0))
Wonderful blog posts! With our little girl, once she passed the six month mark, perhaps it was hormones, but she stopped walking nicely and began trying to trip us or pull us along. I worked with her every day on commands, and just like you, I felt I was starting over. We moved to a place where she could run on an acre ranch, and she calmed down. Perhaps she just outgrew her brattiness. After that, I could go camping with her and she didn't need a leash. She would lay at the edge of the campsite as a guard dog, and follow us without fail. I think it's just a phase. I've gone through the same thing with "non-Corgis". :) Hang in there!
Warmly,
Christiane
RE: Your latest blog post... OMG Caden is doing the same thing. I just got back from a very frustrating walk and logged on to see what else people are saying. (and I uploaded new pics!) When we left the house, the walk was great, but the second we headed back home, he knew it, and stood his ground and preceded to roll around in every dirt pile on the way home. I lost all patience and too feel like a bad mama. Our high value treat is cheddar cheese, which I neglected to have on me... but that's what we use for recall and heel... and works every time. But it's like.. "oh you don't have cheese, I don't have to listen to you." I know it'll be fine.. just gotta remain calm and get over this next bump in the road. ~Cindy
Hiya. Happy 7 months... :-) Yeah I definitely need to upload more pics...been a bit lazy about it. But I read your blog right before Caden was neutered and was relieved when he too thought everything was same ole, same ole on day 2. We did let him run around, but didn't play fetch outside until he got his stitches removed the other day... never seen the boy so happy. We just started an intro agility class and he loves the tunnels. I hope to work on those pics this weekend.
Oh my gosh! Gibson is so handsome now! Thanks so much for your birthday wishes. Hopefully we can try for another hike/get-together when the weather is warmer. Take care!
My dogs do the same thing when they hear others bark when I watch videos! I know to most the video would not be that exciting but other snow loving corgi owners would. Where in Illinois do you live?
Lance is doing well. He still wants to sit outside in these frigid temps when he is suppose to be doing his business! I bribed him in with a treat and then try again later when he really needs to go!! Hes a bit bored, but handling it pretty well!! I have added alot of new pictures of Lance and still have to put more up!!! Hes been frapping more since the weather has been so cold to walk in. i love when they frap, its so cute!!! Yesterday he was going so fast and didnt even slow down to go through the bottom of the folding chair, it amazes me the places they can fit, even the cardigans!! Stay warm, talk to you later!!
How is Gibson's recovery from the snip-snip? Chester just came home from his surgery. So far so good but I'm worried about tomorrow when the meds wear off. Hope all is well with Sir Gibson!
Gibson is so cute...I love his little avatar pic! Don't worry about his neutering - it's a pretty simple procedure. The hard part is getting them to stay relatively calm during the healing period - Rhys kept jumping on and off the couch the next day! I practically had to pin him down to rein in his normal "puppy-ness"!
