I was reading that you were feeding your pup turkey bones:( and i had to comment lol! turkey and chicken bones become brittle and tend to splinter while a dog is chewing them. This can cause some serious internal damage to the dog, ultimately leading to death. I jst had to chime in sorry :(

Miso has been enjoying turkey necks. I make sure to watch her very closely while she's eating it, just to be sure she doesn't choke or anything. Doesn't effect her poos or anything, she loves it all! I freeze them so it feels good on her gums, and it helps with teething, a lot!

One thing I'm glad for is that my little girl is such a dainty eater! When she does eat her Wellness kibbles, she chews each piece carefully. Same with anything she eats, she takes dainty bites and chews it well before swallowing it down. Only time she's choked was from drinking water too fast!

My girls ears came up at five weeks, I was very amazed and also happy I wouldn't have to tape them. Love the new pictures btw, especially the one where she's asleep on her back.

Hello Everyone,

Check out my new pictures of Stella on my page! She's 10 1/2 weeks now. She's really been growing and her other ear is almost completely up!

Both of my Corgis get Lots of fruit & veggies with their kibble. Peas, Carrots, Corn, Yams, & Green Beans mixed up with Apples. I mix up a tub every week and they get some twice a day. They also share a banana a few times a week & Cheese sticks. One comment on the Chicken Broth...make sure you use Low-Sodium. Dogs love veggies! Our vet tells us it's good low fat high vitamin fill. We have Pecan trees and if Rocky is not full, he eats the Pecans. Not a problem there, it's just when he gets a shell stuck up his gum and it gets infected. High Vet bills on that!

New puppy pics, 1 month old now. We are still not sure what to do with them. Sorry for not responding, I have not been on line in a while.

Cottage cheese gives them extra calcium, which helps puppies who are teething.

What are the benifits if any of cottage cheese and fruit? I thought dogs were supposed to be carnivores and don't eat that stuff naturally.

Sami gets a teaspoon of cottage cheese first thing every morning. I read some where that it can stimulate the appetite. Also she gets a little nanner every morning. Some days she will eat everything that is put down some days only a little. Like yesterday was a little day and already this morning she has polished off her breakfast. But I like the chicken broth thing, may do that see how she likes it. Last Sunday at the vets at almost 4 months old she weighed 14.3 lbs.

I think the chicken broth is a good idea, my guys would love that on their food. They both love cottage cheese, and I add some fruit to it too. My pup Randy is strange about eating sometimes. He is healthy and frisky so I don't think he is going without food. There are times when he won't dig in to the dish and I put a little on the floor (it's clean and soap free) and he will eat it.
