I often take Alex and Elizabeth to the Lawrence Avenue dog park, Puptown. Do any of you go there? I've only seen one other corgi (a Cardi) there. My guys are always the odd-corgi-out!

Just want to put it out there that they are no longer checking passes at the Wilmette Dog Beach and that its only open for a few more weeks, Wim and I are down there whenever there is a warm day and would love to see some other corgis.

Uh oh! I'm off to Africa for 6 weeks on Monday the 22nd. My mother was going to watch corgi during that time but (thank god!) she got a job in which she'll be doing a lot of traveling. Corgi would be better at a home for all 6 weeks rather than bounced around, which is what we're thinking at the moment. Does anyone want to take Corgi until August 3? She is a barker, but knows shush, and other than that a very playful and nice girl. Fine around kids, she lives with a 2 year old and a 4 year old who are respectful around dogs.

Chicago Corgi's there is a walk tomorrow for the Red Door Shelter at the Indian Boundary Park. It starts 10 a.m. cost is $15 per adult and $5 per a child. If you cant attend I have a friend that is walking and taking pledges for the bunny team. Contact me if you are interested. I figured if the bunny butt corgi's can help the bunnies it is a good thing.
