Hi Stephanie, I saw your video of Bonnie and her big blue ball. Our previous corgi loved his, our new ones not at all. I thought they would like it, but no. So I thought our Otto was an oddball until I saw your Bonnie. Must be fun to watch her. It used to tire Otto out. We usually had to hide his ball, because he wouldn't stop. She is very cute. We have a red-head tri, as well as a red. Anyway just stopped by to say hi.
Hi Stephanie, If it doesn't rain this Saturday I was thinking it would be fun to walk the Lansing area corgis on the trails behind my house. Around 10:30 if anyone is interested. Let me know if you think it is possible for you. Bev, Sparty, and Izzy
Ok, wednesday sounds good if it doesn't rain. Sparty and Misty are fine. Apparently they managed to eat something that upset their stomachs but all clear yesterday! 6:30 sound alright? I will send my address via message.
Wow.. Stephaine.. one of my horses was born in Homestead!! It is a small world. Yes, we live in Deland.. a charming town - I think - old fashioned charm. I work as an orthopedic nurse coordinator in Daytona Beach. thanks for the comments. They are wonderful and loving dogs. Gizmo is my baby, so loving and sweet.. Although he turned 3 in March.. he is still my "baby boy". LOL. have a great weekend!!
Wow.. Bonnie and Giz have that same expression. Beautiful.. I am a nurse and have been for 14 years now. Good luck in your schooling.. it is a great profession with so many avenues to explore!! thanks for the remarks. your pictures are precious.
Hi! Thank you for the congrats. Skeez is really just a home lovin' guy. It's fun to take him to shows, but we both like being home and playing games together. I'm going to make him an small agility playground this summer--he really enjoys the teeter totter! Your pictures are so great. It inspires me to get my camera out again!! Skeez hates the flash, but indulges me because I am the one with access to the COOKIES :-)
Sidney says thank you for the compliment!
There are so mnay different opinions as to when to start agility. WE are still waiting for a spot to open up at the school where my Dad takes his dogs, or we would have started already. Some say to wait until the dog is over 2 years old so as to not stress the joints, but others say it's OK to start early. I'd say find a school near you and ask them what age they like them to start at.
As for the cats...well, we have not necessarily taught them to get along. They just did over time, but Sid will still chase the younger cat sometimes. Pippin will just jump up on a cabinet to get away. They have never had an actual fight, thank goodness. All the dogs respect our old cat, Hammie, and don't bother him. Hammie has some senility or something; he will go out the doggie door onto the balcony and forget how to get back inside. We'll say "Sidney, go get Hammie" and he'll go out onto the balcony and herd the cat back inside and down the stairs. It is amazing to watch!
Welcome Stephanie and Bonnie! She has beautiful coloration and markings. And your kitty looks just like ours. They seems to get along as well as Sidney and Hammie do.
