Hi there. I just wanted to say your dog and mine are soooooooooo much alike. They both have the same markings but also the video you have posted of him with the tennis ball. Well it was like looking into a mirror. My puppy has the same ball and does all the same things with it. To funny.
Yeah, that whole moving the treat from their nose to the back is supposed to make them naturally sit, never worked on Cookie. She just backs up. Good luck on trimming the nails. After having her for 11 months, she no longer gets mad when I clean her paws with a towel, but she doesn't like me to hold them longer enough to clip. And I just can't see the quick! Even with money tight, I would rather pay someone else to trim her nails. That is bad isn't it? He is looking better already, from the picture you posted before you picked him up. Shinier. Amazing what love and attention can do . . .
He's beautiful!
I found my Tobe through petfinder in Aug and I couldn't be happier...he's a wonderful dog and I'm so glad that I was able to adopt him.
Have fun with your Vivi =D
I wanted to tell you that I think Vivi is adearable. I am, of course, partial to black headed tri-colored corgis. I saw your blog and recent videos and I clicked over to look at the rest of your photos. He's a beautiful dog and so sweet. He has a very gentle look about him. Congrats on the new adoption with Vivi - I hope you will be very happy with him for many years to come. PS - Algy says that Vivi needs lots of treats!
I'm sure the combination of being in a new place with new people and being sore from surgery keep him a little withdrawn and unsettled but I wouldn't worry. He'll be acting normal in no time and once he realized that you are his family and that is his home, he'll be great.
I don't understand why people buy more pets when they can't even take care of the ones they have! At least he's found a forever home with you guys. I can't wait to meet him. We'll have to plan a meet up soon.
So you have a vet and everything all lined up? Are you going to take him to training classes or just teach basic commands at home? Corgis are great to train because they learn so quickly. You're going to have a lot of fun with him. :)
Congratulations on finding yourself a Corgi! Vivi is a cute name. He looks so happy in the pictures. How is he settling in? Do you know why he was at the shelter?
