Thanks Geri and Sidney. I have had to the vet and he has given her Prednisone. This worked great at first but is now loosing its affect. I am afraid that this is a Corgi specific problem that he mightb not be aware of.
Well this little communicative girl is a first for me. All the others have been on a bark need only basis. She talks in her sleep, for normal dog things and then to the cats, her other dog friends everyone. Funny, she has a lower "inside voice" I am working on her with, but she just loves to talk to everyone all the time. Sue
Very few corgis in this area, so not a whole lot of people to ask about their little quirks......like for instance Skipper, she "talks" all the time. My other corgis never said a word........are your guys real vocal also?
Hi Geri and Sidney: My corg is a sable and white Pembroke with a full shawl of white and four white paws........her name is SKIPPER and she just had a birthday she is 8. Nice to meet you. Sue
Thanks! My puppy's name is Jack, after the character from A Nightmare Before Christmas. He was born on Halloween. :) And about the tattoo, thanks! I'm hoping to get more.
Thanks for the weldome! the fuzzy butt, thank goodness for the fuzzy butt!
I will be posting some more photos, likely with the butt in tow!
What a handsome Christmas photo!
Thank you! Sidney is very cute with his long tail! And even though Ion is less than a year old he has slow mornings too. Him and my fiance will just lie in bed together while I actually get up and do stuff. :D
Hi there! :) Kira and Teddy are the names for our two corgis. I will be posting some pictures of our little munchkins soon. Thanks so much for the welcome!

REALLY??? Oh Thank you! That is exactly what they are doing right now!! Active play, always one on top, low tones, not really growling, but gutteral sounds, pulling at the mouth and ears, and neck... from both of them... is this normal play???

Thank you; Bella (5 month Corgi Pembroke) and Mia (3 month Corgi Pembroke) seem like they are playing; but I cannot tell for sure! They are so intense at times; so I tell them No, try to calm them, and give them times apart from each other. But I so want them to be friends! Mia has only been with us one week, and Bella four weeks, so I guess we have time!

Thanks for the welcome! and I know that "shorty" is an affectionate term from my husband because he calls ME shorty also...lol
thanks for the welcome, that was nice of you :) Yes accidents are very scary and it happened because I was trying to ease my lab/corgi's anxiety over my schedule change when I went back to school. I had asked my neighbor to take him out for me once a day since I am gone about 9 hours four days a week. She offered to dogsit him since she's home all day. The very first day, my dog darted out her slider door and I spent 6 hrs looking for him before finding out he was hit by a car :(

Thanks for the welcome! Yes, the apartment is okay. It's me! Right now I am having some difficulty exercising Neko. Hoping this too shall pass.

Toby is my first Corgi, he is going to be 10 weeks old tomorrow. He is so much fun, I got him as a second dog, my other dog Monty is a sweet Alaskan Malamute-Lab Mix and they have already become best of friends.
They are so much fun to watch interact with eachother.
Thank you foe welcoming us to this site! We look forward to loggin in on here to pick ppls brains on training techniques and the like. I'm soo glad I found this site by mistake. I will post pictures up as soon as we pick up our new baby from the airport tonight!!! Sooo excited for my little boy and husband. This was a long time coming...my husband had to put down is childhood dog five years ago and misses her dearly. She was a golden retriver mixed with some other breed.Delete Comment
