Poll -    Which vaccuum do you other members recommend?  We have one Corgi puppy, two chihuahuas (not much shedding there) and lots of hardwood floors, the bedroom she sleeps in is carpeted.  I know Corgi's are SHEDDERS.  So I need a vaccuum that is good for those floor types and has a decent furniture tool.  Before I go and spend my hard earned money I thought I would take a poll:   What Vaccuum do you prefer??

OOOHHH!!!! I Love my Dyson!!! I've had it for 4 yrs. and if it broke tomorrow I would buy another one! These vacuumm really suck up dirt and fur plus mine has never ever clogged unlike my Bissel that I was constantly unclogging blah..
See! that's why I asked this question! I was thinking of looking into a Bissell because of the comercials that are out now (pet hair model). I believe my sams club has Dyson vacuums, now I will go online and check that brand out also. thanks Christy
We just got a Hoover WindTunnel Anniversary Plus. It was only $150 and is GREAT on hard floors and also rugs. Consumer Reports agrees with me. :-) The tools also have great suction, but like with many upright vacs, the hose is a bit short. There is a crevice tool and also a rotating brush tool on the hose attachments, and both work well. I prefer my handheld rechargeable Shark with a brush attachment for furniture.
I agree with christy, my dyson is wonderful on pet hair!
Thank you to all who replied. I now feel better equiped to make a decision. Between the forum and you good women, my husband and I will probably buy one this week. Have a great week, Jenny
