I'm still doing a little research on where to get my puppies. I found a good number of places:

http://puppies.bigelbach.com/
http://sweetopalpuppies.com/index.html
http://familycompanions.net/corgi_page1.html#1

but if any of you have a better experience/knowledge of where to get the bestest puppy ever, i'd love to hear it!

Hi, We adopted our Corgi, Spice, from a Corgi Rescue, PWCCSC (Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of Southern California). Very nice and dedicated people. They are very concerned about where and with whom the dog will will be placed. I was extremely pleased with the caring and obvious love and devotion these people have for the dogs in their care.
I have an EXCELLENT breeder in Bakersfield. Her website is http://www.posocreekpuppies.com/index.htm

I got both of my dogs from there, and intend on one more when the time is right.
Kim is a great breeder, I recomend her for nor cal.
Of my 3 maniacs, only one came from a breeder.
Dodger, my first, came from Stablemates in Riverside, CA. He had been returned to the breeder by 2 different families for undisclosed reasons. He was a boisterous 6 month old tri and just too cute for words.
My second, Genoa the oldest of the bunch, came to me through pwccsc.org. I had an adoption application in with them before I got Dodger. It was about 2 weeks after I brought him home that the rescue folks asked if I was still looking. They had just gotten 5 all at once from a puppy-farm situation and had a 1 year old tri girl in need of a home. She became Dodger's big sister. They look like bookends.
After I got Genni, pwccsc talked me into joining the club and volunteering to foster rescues. They sent me out to check on an 8 month old male sable being held at the Riverside Animal Shelter in March of 2008. He ended up being Koda, my third li'l maniac.
I still foster occasionally, but I'm happy with these 3 entertainers. :)
@Patric Westmarc - Sounds like you're a Corgi's dream come true!
I got my corgi, Indiana, from Stablemate's in Riverside as well! He was 4 months old, the last of his litter still waiting for a home, but during that time he got to play with lots of people, dogs, and horses! He is really well-socialized and does great with any new situation, on account of being taken to horse shows and such with his breeder. There were a bunch of corgis at Stablemate's and all of the moms, dads, and little puppies were well-loved and friendly. They breed rottweilers there too, which is a funny but cute mix with the corgis.
yep cynthia cambell of stablemates is superb, one of my foundation males came from her, I refer folks to her when I don't have pups and she does the same for me.
Got our in England- he was born in Ireland.
Hi,
I have 2 Corgis and I got one from a breeder in Lancaster CA. The other I bought from a newspaper ad. I got a list of breeders from the groomer I go to in Upland Ca. She had a lot of different dog breeders. Good Luck on finding your Corgi
