I'm so pleased to meet you and your darling corgi! Mine are 9 and 8.5, and are still very active. Andy is actually my littile service dog.
He helps mitigate my fibromyalgia (and pending muscular dystrophy diagnosis)etc. Bess acts like she's 5 and needs lots of activity. Would anyone like to borrow (home?) an incredibly smart and beautiful corgi! Seriously!! I love her to death and want her happy! 
You're not too far away in Baltimore, so maybe a playdate? And if you know anyone who can lend a hand to a corgi owner, let me know
