first i would like to say thank you to everyone who has replied. your warm wishes and info has been very helpful. i did get the call from the vet today saying queenie will be released to come home this evening, but that she will probably have to go back tomorrow for more fluids. they also ran another enzyme test on her today. if levels have dropped we may not have to bring her back. the cause of all this was due to a quarter sized piece of hamsteak i gave her monday night. trust me i feel awful and have always been against feeding dogs people food. every now and then she gets a tiny nibble. i learned my lesson. to be without her for 4 days now has been awful. not to mention the pain she has been through =(

she is a very lean corgi. 14 months and 19.5lbs. i only feed her the best. blue buffalo longevity formula. im sure she will be on a strict diet for awhile. as you all know our corgis are the best! again thank you for all your responses. queenie says thanks too!

Glad to hear things turned out okay. Belly rubs to Queenie if she's up for it.
