We have a Corgi in need

Hi. I hope it's okay that I post this here but if there are any Corgi lovers in the Atlanta Ga area... or North Ga... we have a male Pemmie that is a stray running around our area. We are trying to catch him but he will only take food and run away. He's very scared. I'd like to have a home lined up if we do catch him because our Gizmo is male dog aggressive. Please if anyone has room for another corgi let me know because we are close to him trusting us and sadly we can't keep him.

Of course if we do get him I will take him and see if he is micro chipped 1st.

I don't think we could keep him, but I know we could foster him for while. Our male is very non-alpha and as long as they get along and he isn't cat aggressive, we would be able to foster him until perminate home could be found. I've got two kennels.

Of course, after he is checked for a micro chip.

I don't know anything about him really. He has been wondering the street's around here for almost a month. We thought he was a female until today when he let me pet him. If he were a female and of course not chipped then we could keep him but like I said our Gizmo is very alpha and I'd hate for the little guy to get hurt. He's scared enough as it is.

Have you contacted the local Georgia Corgi rescue? They sometimes have people contact them for lost/found Corgi's in the area. I would contact them first to see if they have any leads if you don't find he is micro-chipped. They would have bigger resources to check for missing Corgi's then the average person and also resources for foster homes.

Georgia Corgi rescue can be found at www.gacorgiclub.org. We have recently adopted our second rescue Corgi, otherwise we'd take him. They are the best dogs once settled into a permanent home. Please let me know if I can help otherwise. Judy Fellers

We caught him today and we are on the way to the vet. He is so sweet... We are going to try and introduce when we get home....

What's the status on your stray Corgi? Was he microchipped? Are you trying to get Gizmo to accept him in your home? Would love to know the rest of your story.
