I'm not sure what she's mixed with. She's all black and I know that is not a typical corgi color. I think she's too small to be mixed with a lab. Any suggestions?

We got a flyer for the Paws in the Park in the mail that Sidney and Bruce took part in last year.  My husband got all excited and then looked at the date and said "March??" and then looked where it was from.  I thought it was funny.  We plan on donating to you guys again, if you are walking, so just let us know...we are good for it!!  :)

Her name is Nala.  We thought she looked like the lion cubs from the Lion King, so that's what we named her after.  We are very interested to see what she looks like as she gets older.

Thanks for that. Again, please let me know about the red/paw print bandanas, we'd like to make a donation. We are fine with sending the donation before the bandana arrivess, so feel free to forward an address.

Thanks for your comment. Yes Binidi was named after Bindi Irwin a little bit. My mom thought of the name and it seemed to fit her very well :) Your corgi is so cute! :)

Hi!!! Bailey is doing great. He turned two.. wait THREE this past January (time does fly doesnt it?). We had a party for him and that was a blast since he loves the beach and we had it on the beach! He's also holding 35 lbs of himself now... big but hes built pretty big!

Did you have any other signs of CHD besides his hip suddenly becoming lame? Bailey hasn't shown any signs... but what should I look for?!?!? Baileys parents were not tested before they were bred. I get worried about everything.!!!!

We'll send you a message about your bandanas!!

Bailey and I send hugs and kisses to you guys. The thought of two corgis hugging is hilarious.. :D

hi Geri and Sidney... wow its been awhile since we've been on mycorgi. I remember when I'd post about Bailey when he was a pup and you were very (and still) active in the forums.. always there to help people out! Anyways, we have a blog now and I saw a post about Sidney on Kelly's (corgibutts.com)'s website, and we were intersted in purchasing the same bandana - the red one with paw prints. Let us know!!!

Thank you for the welcome.  I'm so glad that Sidney benefited from his operation.  The first look around this site was spurred by his story and all that you and Corgi Aide, etc. do for our corgis.  I've lots to look at and yes having an older dog has been wonderful.

Thank you for the welcome! When I rescued Sidney, the rescue group named him, so it just stuck! It's so funny how many comments I get saying 'He looks like a Sidney!'. I love him to death!

My mother bred and showed Cocker and English Springer Spaniels, which I also showed, growing up.  Too much grooming. Then she had Labs - big dog with a dangerous tail (anything on a coffee table is at risk) and Flat Coated Retreivers.  I picked Corgis because I wanted the same tough dog as a Lab but in a smaller package.  I got my first corgi over 20 years ago and I'm on corgi 4 and 5 now.  I bred and showed pembrokes for awhile, but now just enjoy them. Next one definitely is going to be a pembroke with a tail or a cardi!
