Maxx and I would love to get together with some other corgis.  How about another meeting more North of Atlanta, like Alpharetta, Roswell, Kennesaw... There is Waggy World Paw Park in Alpharetta (http://alpharetta.ga.us/index.php?p=331).  We have a foster Corgi, Bert, that I'd love to bring, but I have to wait until he is done with his heartworm treatment.

Hello!  Anthony, last fall, our corgi group did some instinct testing with herding with the Canine Ranch in Waleska which is not far from Cartersville.  You should check out their website.  They are a cool facility.  I live in Ellijay.  Hey Cindi, dog park sounds fun.  Lucy and Rosebud are doing great.  But they recently upped our work schedule due the economy, so may or may not be able to come.  Isn't the weather gorgeous?

Hi All:  We would love to do some frapping or herding with our corgi, Dano (yes named after Hawaii Five O Dano).  We are new to the corgi world and quite addicted to the breed now.  We live in the Cumming, Ga area.  Anyone know any trainers for herding or agility?  I'm so happy we have a NE GA group going on line here.  Blessings,

Hey all! I have been a member for a little while now, but honestly forgot when I signed up for it until recently. I see all the talk about play dates and would love to get Barkley out there to meet some fellow Corgi brethren :) We are in the northwest part of GA, around Cartersville area. Haven't really looked into any nearby areas yet, or know if anyone else is even near, but would love to bring Barkley to a meet if possible. When other dogs are involved, the words Play and Stop don't usually compute with him, lol.

Cindi, what a nice invitation to gather----thank you.  Unfortunately we've had a recent development with our male corgi.  He was adopted as a rescue over a year ago, and our female corgi mix we adopted last November.   Before we got her he was timid, but now has grown very possessive of her when around other male dogs.  We need some time to make sure we have successfully stopped this behavior before he's allowed to play with others.  I'm sure there are others who will enjoy this opportunity at Rabbit Hill.  Enjoy!

Who's ready to DOGPARK??  Rabbit Hill in Dacula has a nice, new set up.  If anyone wants to get together for some Frapping, let us know!!

My (furry) kids are not too happy with the weather or me.  I am too wimpy to walk them in the cold.  Luckily my hubby takes them on wonderful long walks on the weekend.  Don't even get them started on how we haven't been to the dog park in two whole months!  Good luck with trying agility,Dara.  I guess you are going to try Canine Capers?  I think the Lawrenceville Kennel Club might do an intro also.  Have fun.

How are my fellow Georgia corgi owners doing?  Are you ready for springtime?  I know we are.  Any of you involved in rally or agility?  I am thinking of getting my two into something when it warms up.  I did agility a little with Gracie about year ago.  I want to do something but can't decide what!  Gracie could use some shaping and Dyson could actually gain some weight!  I hope you all are staying warm and dry!

Go back to crating her right after she eats, sleeps or plays for about 15 mins then walk her outside on leash and tell her to potty. Don't stand out too long if she starts to play, bring her back inside to her kennel for 10 mins then repeat the action. Sometimes we have to go back to the very basics for new situations. Hope this helps.
