Event Description

The June playdate has been set for June 19th from 5-7pm at the Barnett Dog Park in Orlando. The dog park is located within the larger OC Barnett Park complex - a huge park next to the Central Florida Fairgrounds on West Colonial Drive.

Directions: Located off of West Colonial Drive between Pine Hills Road and Mercy Drive directly behind the Central Florida Fairgrounds. Turn on side street called BMX Lane, which goes into Barnett Park and follow that road around past the BMX tracks to the park entrance. Go into the park a little ways to find the dog park - it's located near the frisbee golf grounds.

We'll meet in the large dog section. There's limited seating so feel free to bring your own chairs. Also, always good to bring some water for your pups since we're in the hot season now.

Barnett dog parks is not easy to find. To find it, turn off Colonial Drive where you see the giant 4801 Barnett Park sign at the west end of the Fairgrounds. Head north onto Ferrand Drive, then turn left onto Dolores Drive and go west until the short road ends. You'll see a small foot bridge just north of the parking. Cross the bridge and there you'll find Barnett Dog Park!
