ABBEY is only 7 weeks old, but she is a bundle of unleashed energy.  She jumps out of chairs, off the bed, and is a tremendous little wiggle worm!  It is amazing how she can jump with such short little legs!

My corgi mix can grab a toy from me when held just above eye level. I'm 5'5. If she gets a running start, she can jump higher. And yes, she jumps into my arms on the days I LET her, lol. She weighs so much now, though, that I rarely let her do the floor to arms thing.

we had to rearrange our backyard after she jumped from the ground, to a chair, to a table, to the deck railing and finally on top of our 6 foot high wooden fence and proceeded to chase a squirrel!

we bought a 40" vertical gate after she got over the 30" wooden gate. that was a shock!

we had a schnauzer before Stella and he would be absolutely embarassed at how many places she can get. I'm sure it never occurred to him to get on top of the fence!!!

Sadie is our biggest jumper. She will stand on her back legs and jump at the doorknob to help me open it. Her nose from this standing position reaches 6-8" higher than the deadbolt above the knob. She gets very exited when the treats get passed out. She will jump in the air and spin a complete circle landing on her feet. She is a rescue corgi and her previous masters taught her this but I think she started to do the spin airborn after we got her. The letter we got with her said they taught her to jump into your arms from the furniture, the floor or anywhere. I tried this out while I was both sitting and standing.I must say I was surprised when she did it, but she didn't stop in my arms, she ran on up to my shoulders and stood on them. When I take her in my pick-up truck and roll down my drivers window to talk to someone then out the window she goes and stands on my door mirror and door. She loves to do this and is not scared of heights but I try to prevent her from doing this because she might slip off.
