I had the same thing happen to me at the groomers last summer. She said she was going to trim her and when I got there Piper was SHAVED! I was ok with it, however my husband lost it with the groomer. I paid for it and my husband went to ask for the money back. Not good. However Piper grew out just fine and I think she was happier, I know I was without all the hair in my house but as they say its a part of owning a corgi. I think he looks cute!

I think he looks adorable! I am going to have my Corgi shaved! Maybe not so close but Short!!

I'd cry too! Our breeder actually told us to never let a groomer shave Yogi -- he gets his belly done, but that's it. I hope it grows back quickly! Please post pics as it grows; I'm curious to see how it grows back. (((HUGS!!!)))

that is like my worst nightmare...I would fall to my knees if someone shaved my dog like that...
Though, it's probably more sad for you then him. I'm sure he doesn't mind all his fur gone but I would have been sooo mad at the groomer....*hugs* It'll grow back :-) He's still beautiful

Oh lord, I probably would have cried too if this happened to my Corgi. Hope it all grows back just the way it was!

UPDATE:I know this picture may seem like he is naked but he isnt. His fur is rather light and tends to looks gray is some areas. I can assure you he has hair, and with each day that passes I become more used to it. I dont blame anyone in this situation. Although I feel the groomer should have followed the guidelines on how to groom a corgi, I also wasnt educated enough on the breed to know that they shouldnt be shaved down. All in all he is doing good, still wears a shirt, and I spray doggie sunscreen on him just in case since he doesnt have all the fur to shield him from the sun.

awww sweety it'll grow back :) while I agree that I would probably cry too (we're thinking of doing it but not that short!) you gave the ok to the groomer so I wouldn't blame her too much. Im sure he feels wonderful right now!

Wow, that is sad. I hope you got your money back. He is still going to shed--I used to shave my rat terrier (but not naked like this pic) and she still shed just as much, only the hairs were much shorter. He looks like a real sweetheart and is still adorable, even naked :-)
