Kali got spayed on Thursday. Everything went well and we are now in the recovery process. Thursday and Friday she was quiet and slept a lot. Today is a different story - she seems back to her happy energetic self! Trying really hard to keep her from jumping on things and running at full speed. Her stitches look good and there is no swelling but any hints on how to keep her quiet for as long as possible so she doesn't pull the stitches out. She has gotten used to the cone to keep her from licking but it is funny to watch her manuever with it when she forgets it is on. Any tips would be appreciated and I will be glad when we are done, stitches are out and she can get back to her normal routine.

i guess my vet does this procedure different, Carly was just spayed on wed and she has no cone .. They told me unless she is messing with it,  i would not need one. All her the stitches are on the inside, im not sure why but it sounds like there may be a difference? Anyway her recovery has gone wonderful and i am pleased, i cant bath her for ten days thats when she goes back in to see the vet for a post opp visit.. I just see a line on her belly , looks good to me.. so glad~
